During July three young adults took themselves off to Tanzania, under the supervision of Champion Chanzige, to create a kitchen Garden. Charlie Ghansam, Kate Geraghty and Jen Thompson all approached the charity earlier in the year asking if there was anything they could do to help. We came up with this pilot project, to create a kitchen garden that would create an income for the school as well as teaching the students a skill.
By using re-cycled tyres we were able to include some environmental learning into the project and were lucky enough to have Kipapeo Recycling working with us to ensure that the project was a complete success
Everyone that was involved in this project should be very proud of what they have achieved.
