Two and a half years on..

After two and a half years of not being able to travel due to Covid we were finally able to get out to Tanzania to see some of the work that has continued whilst we have been away.

Fundraising became tricky over this period but we managed to stay ticking over and were even able to complete a number of kitchen gardens and recycled tyre playgrounds.

The older children take so much pride in the gardens and are excited by the fruits and vegetables that they grow, all of which are sold to the local community to create an income for the school.

As for the playgrounds, pure delight! Schools don’t tend to have play equipment so making a playground from recycled tyres creates fun and excitement. Schools have seen a marked increase in attendance at the schools where we have completed these projects.
